About This Bursary

The Entrepreneurial Skills Development Programme is designed to equip small and micro enterprises, including Cooperative Financial Institutions (CFIs), operating within the banking and alternative sectors with essential entrepreneurial skills. This includes knowledge, values, and attitudes necessary for business success. The programme spans 3 months, focusing on practical aspects of entrepreneurship.


Participants will receive dedicated mentorship, spending 6 hours per month with a training institution to develop key business management competencies. This includes formalizing contract assignments, conducting business viability studies, applying course principles to daily operations, tracking liabilities, summarizing daily sales, explaining record-keeping for banking purposes, and recording cash expenses from sales income.

  • Must be operating within the banking or alternative sector.
  • Participants must be entrepreneurs seeking to develop business management skills.
