How do I check my NSFAS status in 2026?
Visit myNSFAS.org.za and log in with your SA ID number and password. Your current application or payment status is displayed on your dashboard. You can also call NSFAS on 08000 67327.
What does NSFAS Provisionally Funded mean?
Provisionally Funded means NSFAS has assessed you as financially eligible, but your funding won't be finalized until your institution confirms your registration. Register as soon as possible and update your banking details.
Why is my NSFAS payment late?

How long does NSFAS take to process applications?
Initial processing takes 4–8 weeks. From Provisionally Funded to first payment can take another 4–8 weeks after registration is confirmed by your institution.
