How the matcher works

The matcher compares your answers against the eligibility rules of every bursary in our directory. Anything you clearly don’t qualify for — a minimum average above your marks, a field or study level that doesn’t include yours, a citizenship or gender restriction you don’t meet — is filtered out completely, so you only ever see real options. The remaining bursaries are then scored on how well they fit: a bursary open to your exact field, available in your province, with no workback and open for applications now will rank higher than a partial match.
